Zondervan appoints new president.

Zondervan named former Marketing Executive VP Doug Lockhart as the company’s new president, succeeding Bruce Ryskamp, who will continue as CEO. Ryskamp will continue to oversee and direct Zondervan’s growth strategies and serve on the HarperCollins Executive Committee. Lockhart will oversee day-to-day operations. |

JORDON BOOK AWARD FINALISTS PICKED.

ECPA announced the top five finalists for this year’s ECPA Charles "Kip" Jordon Book of the Year award. They are: Lee Strobel & Garry Poole’s Experiencing the Passion of Jesus (Zondervan), Charles Swindoll’s Great Lives: Job (W Publishing), Max Lucado’s It’s Not About Me (Integrity), David Jeremiah’s Searching for Heaven on Earth (Integrity), and Nancy Leigh DeMoss & Tim Grisson w/ Life Action Ministries’ Seeking Him (Moody). The winner will be presented at The ECPA Gold Medallion & CBA Retailer Impact Awards Celebration July 11 at the International Christian Retail Show in Denver |
